Outdoor and indoor lighting regulation switch & distribution cabinets ELREM PRO-RRx equipped with three-phase electronical (IGBT AC chopper) lighting regulator of new generation emReg-R 3x400V and transformer TRRn 400/42V, are designed for switching & three-phase coupled, contactless and continuous/leveled regulation of voltage/lighting flux on public lighting installations realized with HID (high intensity discharge-HighPressureSodium, metal-halide) lamps. Fan-out capacity is 1-6 three-phase cables. The cabinet is produced according to design or upon the user's demand. The function of regulation of relative lighting flux intensity is continual in standard (extended range on demand) range 50% (60% for metalhalide) -100% of relative intensity, or (on demand) with three discrete levels 100%, 75%, 50% with smooth level-changing with programmed intensity reduction intervals (22:00 -6:00), and three seasonal programs, all implemented in processor-controler PRO-RR with interactive man-machine interface-digital LCD and functional programmable keyboard. There is a function of adjusting the relative maximal level of voltage as 100% level (option – limitMAX), thus conditioning the maximal supplied voltage to regulated installation to apropriate level, that is independent of mains overvoltage-which benefits to bulb lifespan tremendously.
The regulator has controlled temperature with active two-stage temperature limitation, as well as all neccesary protection: overvoltage suppression and two-stage overvoltage transients suppression by means of draining the exessive energy, very fast over- and short-current active protection (voltage regulator self-initiated and performed cut-off in 10-100us, self reset function, hand-shake protocols with cabinet processor), fault diagnostics and memory, with alarm signal (released by faulty condition or by triggering the highest level of protection) which initiates automatic bypass function controlled by cabinet processor. Similar protections are integrated in cabinet switching equipment with adequate capacity and selectivity. This very high degree of protection pays itself by securing the constant functionality and supply of the lighting installation (uninterrupted and continous operation of facility in case of demage and failure) and a high level of protection of cabinet and installation equipment. This type of regulation is neutral respective voltage shape and power-factor of lighting installation. The regulated output voltage is in shape equal to sinusoidal input voltage of the mains, practically unaffected with generated distortion (THDu < 0,2 % ), thanks to PWM regulation and very efficient filtering. The efficacy of the regulation is very good, better than 97%. Switching of the lighting can be various: switching in supply point, remote and locally by means of photo-relay( Fs). The standard functions are: -switching on/off by: -photo-relay (auxiliary equipment**) -acc.to control program in the cabinet-controller PRO-RRx with interactive man- machine interface-digital LCD and functional programmable keyboard. The cabinets comply/conform to valid Croatian standards and regulations: HRN EN 50274:2002, HRN EN 60439-1:1999/A1:2004,HRN EN 60947-4-3:2005, HRN EN 61000-3-2:2001 i HRN EN 61000-3-3:1997 and valid regulations; and EU Directive 2004/108/EC. We issue production, testing and implementation certificates and declarations of conformity and quality after set-up and probe operation.
